PlaytestCloud will be sponsoring and attending the Pretzels and Playtesting UX Conference in Munich on November 29th, and we would love to meet with you.

About the Conference

Pretzels and Playtesting is a new “pop-up” conference of talks and networking events around UX research and design in the video game industry. Whether you are an industry professional, academic, or student, this conference promises to provide you with both inspiration and practical takeaways. The day will be packed with talks on user interface design in games, design principles in games for older adults, and user experience design- just to name a few topics.

Elie Mouraud

We are really excited to hear from one of our own at Pretzels and Playtesting - Elie! As many of you know, Elie Mouraud has been working at PlaytestCloud as a project manager since June 2018. Before joining PlaytestCloud he worked for Berlin-based Aeria Games, where he would work to lead the game's production team in designing iOS & Android games.Elie will be opening the conference with his talk on the best ways to recruit players for anyone’s playtesting needs.

“My talk is focused around two main ideas, we will begin by exploring the importance of a structured segmentation of the target test audience. This will be followed by a hands-on guide, breaking down the whole recruitment process of finding the right players for your game. We will discuss examples of best practices, challenging recruitment stories, screening methods and tips on how to nail profile accuracy. I hope that this lecture will speak to everyone who wants to structure and improve their recruitment process for better playtests.”

Elie brings an immense amount of experience in the mobile game testing field, and we can't wait to hear what he has to say!
